Brought up in the heart of Sicily under the volcano Etna, Marina lived and breathed traditional artisan bread, cakes and delicacies, available on every street corner until her mid-twenties, when she ventured into The Netherlands as a musician, but with a desire to produce special food.
Working her way through Norway, England, Portugal, then finally settling in North Wales, Marina has worked in each country with food, music and language.
Each country added to her cooking skills; working as a baker, producing street food, running her own restaurant in Portugal and as Catering Supervisor for the National Trust, now establishing her own catering business in Cyffylliog, Ruthin.
Marina is starting to supply private individuals, pubs, deli shops and restaurants with her traditional products, from well-known homemade pasta to cakes and biscuits unavailable locally and possibly even nationally.
In addition to providing traditional Italian food, Marina also offers bespoke cooking lessons, catering for individuals or small groups in their own home to larger events where everyone is involved with a hands-on fun experience.
