This is the second year the café has been trading in its current form and has gone from strength to strength. In the summer tables spill out onto the museum forecourt creating an attractive outdoor eating area right in the heart of the town centre.
The Café specialises in using local produce used to produce delicious meals.
A food shop has also been created in the café area enabling local food producers to sell their products in the town centre and the café also supports local ,food producers in hosting workshops and demonstrations to raise awareness for visitors about the variety of delicious food that’s produced in the area.
Some of these products are used in a special “dish of the week” allowing customers to try the cooking and purchase the products from our shop.
