Paintings of artist with dementia printed on Aballu chocolate bars
Jo Edwards’ recent project is to produce a range of chocolate featuring paintings by her grandmother, who lived with dementia and discovered her artistic talent at the age of 85.

After her grandmother passed away, the family decided to raise funds and awareness for Dementia Friendly Wrexham, and they organised an exhibition of Pat’s work. It was a successful event, which led to the decision of printing some of these paintings on to chocolate bars. By doing this, Jo is hoping to tell more people about the creative potential of people living with the condition.

Aballu Chocolatier made the headlines in the newspapers with this initiative.
