Are you looking to create unique, stand out menus? Bring something a bit different to your B&B?
Offer your customers a taste of local at your delicatessen? Then this event is perfect for you.
Welsh food & drink is going from strength to strength and customers are increasingly interested in
eating local and well sourced products, so it’s no wonder businesses are looking for ingredients and
products closer to home.
Businesses say that the hardest part of sourcing good quality, local food, is knowing where to look
first, that’s why we are running our fourth ‘Meet the Producer’ event! This will give you the opportunity
to see and taste the best local food in the area as well as meet those who produce it and ask
questions to make sure it’s the right product for you.
So, whether you’re a retailer, chef, accommodation provider, cafe or restaurant, come along and be
inspired! There will be the around 25 local food producers and exhibitors from Denbighshire and
Flintshire keen to show off their products to you.
Not only will you have the opportunity to meet producers, there will also be business support
organisations including Development Banc of Wales and Business Wales, There will be chef demos
and ‘huddles’ which will inspire you with ideas for your business and help to strengthen and grow any
opportunities. A huddle is a programmed time when producers and exhibitors will present their
product, message or story. Local wholesale companies such as Blas Ar Fwyd and Harlech will also be
there to showcase their range of products and to see how they can meet your supply need.
This event is supported by FSB. Flintshire Council and Denbighshire County Council as part of their
March for Business series. It’s free to attend but we ask if you can register here
